No. Thamizhan requires no registration or account. Simply download and use it immediately.
The panchanga calculations follow traditional Tamil Panchangam methods. For critical religious or astrological decisions, we recommend cross-referencing with a local jothidar (astrologer).
Location is used optionally to provide accurate local panchanga timings and sunrise/sunset information for your area. You can deny this permission and enter your city manually instead.
Make sure you have granted Thamizhan access to Photos in iOS Settings → Thamizhan → Photos. Video export requires a physical iPhone — it does not work on the simulator. Also ensure you have sufficient storage space on your device.
Song streaming requires an active internet connection. Please check your Wi-Fi or mobile data. If the issue persists, close and reopen the app.
Go to the Porutham section, enter the boy's and girl's birth star (nakshatra). The app will calculate the 10 traditional poruthams and display the compatibility result.
Thamizhan requires iOS 12.0 or later. For the best experience, we recommend iOS 16 or newer.
No. All personal data you enter (birth details, names) is stored only on your device. We do not upload or store any personal information on external servers.
